In this role, you will select products from the Warehouse, load and secure goods to pallets, and move inventory to designated loading areas. You must have the ability to problem-solving skills, comply with all relevant safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures.To ensure your success you need the ability to follow instructions and operate a fork lift.Major Responsibilities:Reads customer delivery pick order, determines items to be moved, gathered or distributed.Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, bins according to predetermined sequence (i.e. Size, type, style, color, or product code).Uses a RF scanner to enter records and record data.Marks materials with identifying information.Drives forklift (reach truck, Order Picker, Turret Truck, Sit Down) to Pick/Pack and transport items.Prepares parcels for shipping. Stage Pallets.Performs cycle countsLoads and unloads vehicles.Other duties as assignedRequired Education / Experience / Skills: High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 1 year experience driver ForkliftMinimum 2 years work experience in a production or warehouse environmentCustomer Service OrientedAbility to work with limited SupervisionAbility to lift 50lbs.Willing to work at heights of 25 feet or more while secured by a harnessAble to work 1 st /or 2 nd Shift hours of Monday-Saturday with some overtimeLanguage: English (Spanish/English) a plusWork Environment/Physical Requirements:This position is done in a Warehouse environment typically indoors but may require access to outdoors for work at times. This position requires the ability to drive a forklift: Reach Truck, Order Picker and/or Turret Truck. The position requires a person to be able to frequently walk, stand, bend and twist; see, hear and talk; use fingers and hands, handle or feel controls or product; use hands and arms to reach, hold and carry product. Frequently lifting/moving up to 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. is required.
