Are you looking to use your test automation and management skills to deliver a diverse slate of high priority initiatives while expanding your technical skills and visibility across the entire global Goldman Sachs organization? Regulatory, Controls and Strategic Change team is seeking a professional who is looking to collaborate with an ever changing cadre of stakeholders to deliver test automation ranging from tactical to strategic solution implementation. You will not only utilize but be able to evolve some of the latest test automation methodologies and test analysis tools while driving test automation to completion on time, on budget, with quality and high customer satisfaction.
OUR IMPACT
Testing CoE is a centralized framework that comprises of strategic assets – process, people, tools and best practices, to govern how a testing organization engages and delivers highly efficient and effective testing services to the Operations division, working in close partnership with Technology and other divisions.
The objectives are (1) to automate testing and (2) to execute strategy and establish the capability, including people, processes and tools.
BUSINESS UNIT OVERVIEW
RCSC group acts as a center of change management and testing excellence for Operations in Goldman Sachs; it plans and executes pan-Operations projects with significant risk and / or strategy implications in partnership with teams throughout Operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSBILITIES
Deliver high priority projects across all typical project phases:
Build test automation framework and strategy in partnership with Technology and Operations
Test planning execution, defect management, including progress monitoring, reporting KPIs and KRIs assuring quality throughout the project
Build and manage strong relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders in Operations, Technology and the business. Manage competing priorities across these groups
Understand the firm’s and Operations’ strategic plans, business, process and architecture in order to influence design and drive change related conversations
Provide support and advice to Operations teams on testing tools and methodology
Manage team members on test planning and execution; act as quality assurance for those projects. Assist in staffing resources to projects as appropriate
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in design and implementation of test automation
Experience in functional & automation testing using tools like Selenium, Fitnesse, Cucumber or similar testing tools
Good understanding on test automation framework like data driven, hybrid driven etc...
Knowledge of testing concepts, methodologies and technologies
Manage multiple tasks, great analytical skills and use sound judgement
Ability and skills to understand business requirements, analyze and write test scripts
Good interpersonal communication skills with ability to lead test projects/streams independently
Collaborate globally across functional & technology teams for better testing outcomes
Pro-activeness, flexibility and creativity in driving results
Team player and fast learner, ability to succeed in a culture where change and speed are part of daily work
Strong written & verbal communication skills
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
Required 5+ year of relevant professional experience
Knowledge of Java or object oriented programming is required
Degree in Computer Sciences preferred
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Exposure to regulatory projects like Mifid II, EMIR etc.
