Position Summary:

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Bloomington, Indiana is a state of the art, GMP manufacturing facility, providing one million sq/ft of a drug substance manufacturing, drug product manufacturing, and related pharmaceutical services. This award-winning facility helps customers accelerate biologic drug development programs and bring better treatments to help patients live better, healthier lives. The Warehouse Operator’s primary duty is to maintain the SISPQ (Safety, Identity, Strength, Purity, and Quality) of all GMP raw materials and process consumables upon receipt and while in storage, while operating under tight safety and quality procedures to ensure the SISPQ of raw material and finished product.

This is a permanent, full time position. It is hourly. The shift is Friday - Sunday, 6am – 630pm.

The Role:

  • Work in partnership with area quality, operations, and purchasing support to resolve quality and supply chain issues associated with Receiving/Material Handling/Shipping –GMP raw materials and finished products;

  • Work with freight forwarders and carriers to ensure proper customs clearance, and assist when necessary with incoming materials with customs issues;

  • Maintain SISPQ of all GMP raw material and finished product;

  • Maintain all required training certification to ensure performance is in compliance with approved cGMP procedures;

  • Act as the initial point of contact for client receipts and shipping request;

  • Provide packaging and shipping advice when required for high-value, temperature controlled, raw material and finished product;

  • Interface with integrated material management system (JD Edwards) to track material availability and scheduling dates of requested material;

  • Act as the facilitator to obtain authorization to ship quarantine material;

  • Hazardous material IATA trained;

The Candidate:

  • Requires at least a High School/GED; Associates degree preferred;

  • 1-3 years of GMP experience;

  • Must be able to read and understand English-written job instructions and safety requirements;

  • Position requires a high attention to detail;
