Maintenance Technician

job summary:

A world leader wire and cable producer is searching for a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Bremen, IN. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairs, assembly and disassembly, installation, moving and modifying complex mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of two years maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting including gear box repairs, bearing replacement, pneumatics, hydraulics and welding.

responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, assemble, install, relocate or modify complex mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

• Follow prescribed safety procedures so as to prevent injury to self and others and to maintain safe equipment and conditions in entire plant.

• Have a thorough knowledge of maintenance procedures and operating standards.

• Know the location of all switches, valves, tools and emergency equipment in assigned area.
