More About the Role:
Duties required for this task order and for assigned project includes:
managing Warehouse, ensuring Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) in the Asset Tracking System (ATS)
performing Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) analysis
Review Government-provided maintenance procedures and identify opportunities to improve maintainability and decrease cost.
Document results of the review including recommended changes to improve maintainability as well as organic depot processes and procedures
Modify, enhance, track, update, assemble, integrate, ship, install, test, monitor, purchase, and maintain hardware, software, or firmware parts and materials required to support the mission capability of fielded systems. Tasking shall include new technology improvements and updates to fielded systems, subsystems, equipment, and components to include documenting all related requirements
Perform a supportability analysis to identify any packaging, handling, and transportation equipment requirements such as special storage requirements (e.g., low humidity or refrigeration requirements), special container requirements, and special shipping requirements (e.g., Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT))
Develop, assemble, and install engineering change kits
Record, track, and analyze all interim support systems procurements and rework in the Asset Tracking System (ATS) database. Recommend improvements and enhancements to maintenance plans and provide alternative recommendations or updates to reduce system lifecycle total ownership cost
Perform maintenance and repair incidental to the research and analysis performed on program owned assets to support ongoing testing and lab asset development. Modify and maintain hardware required to support platform installations and lab assets. Monitor schedule and record cost associated with each repair to include deep dive failure analysis

user logistics support summaries
post-production support plans
logistics implementation plans
Implements logistics plans, databases, and support files to support the fielding of new complex information systems or major modifications.
Applies logistics principles and methods to specialized logistics solutions.
Performs logistics database management functions.
Performs logistics inventories and related logistics functions.
Works independently and leads the implementation of logistics discipline.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
US Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain DoD Security Clearance
3+ years of experience in the field or in a related area; and a High School Diploma
Knowledge of commonly used logistical concepts, practices, and procedures
Able to work under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Is an established and productive individual contributor
Can handle problems of a routine nature, but is capable of providing interpretation and solution which may deviate from standard procedures
Able to makes minor adjustments to working methods
Effectively communicates information that requires explanation or interpretation
Typically has 3 years of experience. May require vocational or technical education in addition to related work experience.
Experience computer user for word processing and data entry
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Active DoD SECRET clearance
DAWIA Level I certification
Experience using the Logistics Assessment Guidebook and the established requirements for defense systems acquisition reviews or program reviews
Experience preparing TD or publications IAW Military Standard (MIL-STD)-31000
Experience preparing Logistics documentation IAW the Independent Logistics Assessment Handbook, NAVSO P-3692
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree such as systems engineering, supply chain management, or concentrations in Business Administration (BBA) preferred
