The Contract Administrator ensures consistent and timely processing of contract proposals. Responsibilities include the management of contracts, including approval and any necessary changes over the course of the contract life. Reviewing and understanding the commercial terms of contract proposals, reviewing Berry Best discrepancies with sales and obtaining approvals from relevant department stakeholders.
Utilizing Novatus, the contract life cycle management tool, to process, track, communicate and manage obligations of contract proposals
Verify and document the integrity of data provided by the requestor
Ensure Berry is in compliance with agreed terms of a contract
Along with supervisor, manage competing urgent requests, priorities and deadlines
Effectively work with the commercial team in a professional manner
Manage summarization of Executive Summary and finalize with supervisor prior to releasing to sales for Executive approval
Hold self and others accountable for completing tasks in a timely manner
3-5 years of consistent experience in Microsoft Office Software Applications
5 years of analytical experience in a manufacturing environment
Contract Management Certification or willing to complete in agreed upon timeframe
Bachelor degree preferred
Ability to guide and direct courses of action at all levels of sales and management
Demonstrated leadership in managing processes and people
Strong understanding of Berry's pricing process in JDE.
Strong understanding of Berry's costing and quoting process
Availability to travel periodically
