Project Coordinator

CRST Specialized Transportation is seeking a self motivated and results oriented Project Coordinator

Job Summary: The Project Coordinator is responsible for the daily servicing of specific customer projects and functions related to the Project Logistics Group. They serve as the main point of contact to specific accounts, managing their projects from beginning to end including but not limited to: quoting, negotiating rates, manage daily operations – inventory - deliveries to jobsites - final billing/invoicing. .

Job Description:

  • Negotiate rates with customers and service providers based on specific project requirements to ensure profitable margins for STI

  • Source providers for warehousing and deliveries

  • Manage inbound shipments-inventory-storage

  • Coordinate deliveries from warehouse to jobsite to meet customer delivery requirements

  • Process billing and invoicing to customers

  • Process billing and payments to providers

  • Interact with and assist other coordinators

  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with internal and external customer and service providers

  • Be able to build relationships via phone and email

  • Must have excellent problem solving and time management skills

  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented

  • Must be able to multi-task and function in a fast paced environment

  • Must be able to work independently as well as be a team player within a team atmosphere

  • Other duties as assigned


  • College degree or one year of related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Experience prioritizing matters.

  • Top-notch organizational skills.

  • Ability to work under potentially stressful situation.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
