We are looking for a Materials Manager for our Frankfort, Indiana plant to contribute to our Powertrain – Sealing and Gaskets business unit. In this role you will be working with plant leadership to create and innovate cost measures in the facility. Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a purchasing function and an ambition to champion change.

  • Oversees the ordering of materials, supplies, and equipment from vendors by buyers.

  • Evaluates, selects, and establishes relationships with vendors, and negotiates contracts for goods and services.

  • Approves purchases and tracks their progress to make sure orders are filled and delivered correctly.

  • Review purchase orders for accuracy and to make sure the best prices are obtained.

  • Designs and implements various purchasing strategies and procurement policies, and assist to reduce material cost.

  • Supervises the activities of other purchasing representative(s).



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business field required.

  • 3+ years of experience in purchasing role, at least two years in a manufacturing facility.

  • At least one year of experience in a leadership role highly preferred.

  • Automotive supplier experience highly preferred.
