Summary/Objective
Responsible for safely and effectively controlling, monitoring, and dispensing inventory in the HUB throughout the Complex. Responsible for adhering to LCI core values, safety guidelines, and lean initiatives. Required to request support, as necessary, from other Maintenance Technicians and Maintenance leadership. All Maintenance positions support operations and production first, when necessary.
Essential Functions
Control of Access – Responsible for oversight of access to inventory, including enforcing sign out of consumables and MRO; responsible for continuous manning of hub during production hours
Monitoring Inventory – Responsible for cycle counting of consumable and MRO inventories to maintain accurate inventories
Maintaining Inventory – Responsible for stocking and maintaining consumable and MRO inventories in a labeled, neat, organized, and clean manner
Dispersing – Responsible for inventory and fill of lockers at plants 19, 26, & 30; fulfillment of orders for post-production areas and requests for service trucks
Dispensing – Responsible for tracking of consumable and MRO transactions in CMMS/purchasing software (Tabware); tracking of service truck requests through purchasing
Receiving/Shipping – Responsible for receiving consumables, MRO, and special orders; as well as, shipping repair and other items from hub as required
Packing Slips - Responsible for scanning packing slips to Purchasing Agent and or Receiving in a timely manner
Operating – Responsible safe and efficient operation of fork lifts and scissor (aerial) lifts

Supervisory Responsibility
Supervises Hub Inventory Techs & is responsible for inventory & delivery of items.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active – while performing this job the employee is regularly standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, balancing, reaching, handling, and climbing all day. The employee may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
In addition, the employee may be exposed to dust, fumes, gases, noise, heat, cold, and wet work while performing job duties. This position requires Personal Protective Equipment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time hourly position, and hours of work and days are based upon the need to support operations and production. Some Saturdays will be mandatory.
Travel
No travel will be required.
Required Education and Experience
Must successfully complete LCI new hire safety training and refreshers
Must be able to successfully pass the LCI OSHA approved forklift-training course
Must successfully complete all LCI lean training, as required
Must successfully complete LCI Tabware training, as required
Preferred Education and Experience
High School/GED - High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Fork Truck – Experience operating a fork truck or aerial lift preferred
CMMS – Experience with CMMS or purchasing software preferred
Manufacturing Work – Experience in a Manufacturing environment preferred

Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be able to pass EVerify.
