PURPOSE:

To package, label, skid, and inspect product correctly for shipping in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately package product (includes labeling, packing, computer entries)

• Stack or arrange packaged product in the proper manner on the correct skid

• Maintain machinery in proper working order by filling proper supplies, make adjustments as needed, identify potential problems and get help as needed

• Keep machine and work area clean

• Maintain acceptable rate

• Ensure product being packed meets specifications through inspection (correct computer set-up, right label on boxes/right number of rolls in box/put on the right skid)

• Follow rules to ensure work is performed in a safe manner

• Maintain knowledge of QMS and ISO Standards

• Maintain GUNG-HO attitude supporting the Berry Global vision statement, goals, and company culture

• Follow and encourage GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices)

• Ensure that safety is a priority by following all safety procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Work well with other team members

• Report to work on time

• Operate machinery and power lifts in a safe manner

• Keep area clean and organized

• To be successful in this job must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
