Opportunity Overview:

Join FNBO’s Gen6 Ventures team to help us revolutionize consumer payments by creating a digital credit card services business. This business will deliver the speed and agility that digital-first fintechs and API-driven brands need to drive loyalty and value through card payments.

Our Credit Card-as-a-Service ("CaaS") platform is led by technology and being built with a product mindset; shifting away from how legacy card issuers work today. This journey to create something new and innovative needs an individual to join our team who can embrace a start-up mentality, work alongside a high-functioning team and commit to exceeding expectations.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Product Manager (PM) to develop the holistic experience of servicing an existing credit card account. You will focus on a broad set of product capabilities including: customer support, risk management and financial crime compliance Also, you will be expected to manage the complexity of varied needs from cross-functional teams in business, operations, technology, legal and compliance. You will articulate a clear vision for the customer experience and influence CaaS leadership on what is needed to achieve it. You help the team understand what capabilities customers need to be successful. You will also work on the technical details with the development team to make sure it’s implemented well.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Own the Discovery Process, i.e. why customers are seeking these capabilities

  • Define what these capabilities are doing for customers based on your expertise from the market, customer and product perspective

  • Determine the third-party providers needed to deliver product capabilities and make recommendations to CaaS leadership

  • Develop the full product life cycle, from ideation to launch, including the strategic product roadmap

  • Maintain and lead ongoing development of product following launch

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • “Walk the floor” with operational teams and engage in daily activities to collect feedback and improve the products

  • Communicate status updates to leadership regarding product implementation with development and engineering teams

  • Manage technical handoffs to ensure product requirements are met and deadlines are achieved

  • Work with third-party relationships required to deliver product capabilities for launch

  • Engage with Head of Credit Services and third-party consultants to ensure new technology is built and launched in compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required and ideal candidates have a at least five (5) years experience with product management in a financial services organization

  • Three (3) years in software product management and development preferred

  • Experience in credit card industry preferred

  • Must be excited to build new products and work in start-up environment

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to create new products, API’s, and or complex systems

  • Curious spirit and seeks learning opportunities

  • Passionate about understanding and solving customer problems

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Collaborative worker and is an effective team player

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $68,471.00-$109,767.00

IMPORTANT - This range is for the primary posting location of: Omaha - FN Tower

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
