Responsibilities:

  • Accountability and ownership of all market accounting and administrative functions including Accounts Receivable and general office

  • Manage, motivate and lead a team of accounting and administrative staff through remote management and in-person engagement. Travel within market as needed

  • Management of Trade Discounts and other financial related vendor and customer discounts or programs

  • Process general ledger account reconciliations and assist with both internal/external audits as required

  • Provide Market level HR support such as new hire orientation, field questions regarding pay and benefits, responsible for payroll reporting and coordination of HR paperwork

  • Provide Market level IT support, help troubleshoot issues and maintain equipment

  • Work with the Market Vice President and Region Finance Director to ensure the administration and accounting functions are operating at performance levels within acceptable stated metrics

  • Hire, retain and develop top talent to improve the organization. Prioritize and balance workload, implement changes to improve productivity and increase efficiencies

  • Prepare and run month end reports, assist with Company Record Retention Program

  • Negotiate and manage local office contracts with external vendors such as cleaning, vending, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or accounting, or equivalent experience is required

  • A minimum of two years management experience is required

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, AS400 experience preferred

  • Requires travel throughout the market and business as needed

  • Strong interpersonal, organization, and analytical skills

  • Must be organized and results-oriented

  • Excellent negotiation skills required

  • Ability to work independently, provide leadership and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
