Seeking a Director of Customer Engagement to oversee our Sales, Support and Call Center teams, develop new business, and grow existing relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the executive team to develop strategic initiatives, goals, and plans

  • Create key performance indicators to ensure that assigned divisions are achieving goals and objectives

  • Lead the Business Development/Sales teams to prospect, build, maintain, and grow accounts across the United States

  • Play an integral role in overseeing our Call Center Operations to ensure each touchpoint across the customer journey is engaging, efficient, and effective

  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration with our estimating team, sales and field operations

  • Oversee all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval

  • Lead and direct RFP/RFI and proposal development for strategic opportunities

  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines

  • Prepare and assemble monthly and periodic reports of a descriptive statistical nature for distribution to appropriate departments

  • Coordinate departmental customer interaction in terms of departmental accountability and follow-up

  • Maintain contact with all clients in the market areas to ensure high levels of client satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred

  • 8-10 years of professional experience with demonstrated success in: business development, management consulting, financial services, business strategy, or a related field

  • Utility and/or related services sales experience a plus

  • Direct experience in selling situations involving negotiation, either direct sales or other sales-like functions and demonstrated success in driving results.

  • Demonstrated competency in successful client retention and customer relationships
