Breg Field Inventory Coordinator in Indianapolis, Indiana

We currently have a full time opening a for Field Inventory Coordinator in Indianapolis, IN. This position is responsible for tracking cost, purchasing orders, proactively communicate inventory status, and issues to the Senior Practice Administrator. Works tasks are semi-routine in nature, requiring occasional deviation from standard practice.

Your day will be very busy… you will:

  • Manage/Analyze the order process for all inventory and custom braces for all locations including different account service sites. Collaborate with service representatives regarding inventory requirements.

  • Perform the set-up of new vendor accounts.

  • Perform the return process for patient-specific and non-patient specific returns.

  • Receive stock and bill proof of delivery notices (P.O.D.’s) and verify the product is placed and/or transferred into the correct sub inventory location.

  • Create and log Purchase Orders (P.O.’s); verify contractual pricing on products.

  • Learn and master inventory functionality in all systems, primarily Oracle and BCS (Breg Claims System).

  • Receive product and organize onto shelves; check orders against packing slips and Purchase Orders. Receive product into Breg Claims System (BCS), Oracle, and/or legacy billing system. Maintain and share inventory counts and inventory processes on spreadsheets on the public drive.

  • Run month end reports and close outstanding P.O.’s. Communicate with employees regarding outstanding orders for month end. Prepare balance inventory for month end and complete cost report.

  • Review backorder reports; take action to provide proper management of inventory.

  • Assist Patient Service Centers, sales teams, and distributors on inventory-related billing solutions such as claim processing, feedback on documentation, forms. Maintain recordkeeping for ease of research/accounting.

  • Proactively communicate with internal and external customers.

What your background will be:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred and 2+ years applicable experience.

  • Business to Business inventory required. Medical device inventory management desired.

  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP is desired, but not required.

  • Computer proficient to include web browser/internet search, MS Outlook, Word and Excel capabilities.
