Essential functions and responsibilities:
Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and/or vacuums store, washroom, backroom, and/or dock areas.
Help clean store shelving, counters, or tables when other cleaning is completed.
Clean debris, snow, and ice from sidewalk and related areas, salting as necessary to provide safety to others walking in the area.
Help customers load furniture purchases, and help customers unload donations.
Assist wth unloading store delivery truck.
Acts as a personal representitive of The Salvation Army and ensures that all customers are treated courteously and respectfully.
Wear any and all PPE provided, including but not limited to gloves, masks, or back guard when doing substantial lifting.
Maintain a neat appearance, including clean clothing, clean shaven or neatly trimmed facial hair, neatly trimmed hair, shirt tucked in, and pants at the waist.
Must be available for a flexible schedule; to work early shifts, late shifts, and some weekends.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions. Ability to deail wth standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Good speaking, hearing and vision ability, and excellent manual dexterity.
