Job Description:

Provide timely and accurate responses to providers concerning claims status, eligibility and general billing information. Maintain daily production goals and exceed contract required response times. Perform other duties as required to support the unit and the account.

Work Hours: Range from: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Qualifications:

  • Graduated from accredited high school

  • Strong oral communication skills

  • Excellent attendance record

  • Previous experience in customer service call center environment and health care claim billing procedures required

  • Knowledge of claims billing procedures for CMS-1500, UB-04 and ADA 2012 claim types

  • Ability to learn quickly

  • Proper grammar skills both written and oral

Job Specific Skills/Essential Functions:

  • Ability to receive and respond to communication between DXC and customer.

  • Ability to analyze requests, then resolves inquiries by following established guidelines for gathering data or routing requests to the appropriate area.

  • Ability to work independently and in a strong team environment.

  • Ability to effectively manage time.
