Corteva Agriscience is looking for an innovative, energetic, and transformational IT Supply Chain Optimizer Expert, The IBP Optimizer Expert is responsible for sustaining and improving optimizer results. Optimizer expert has deep skills in tuning the parameters needed to maintain and improve plan quality results from Optimizer runs. The IT Supply Chain OE will work in a project team-based environment to understand business requirements and design enterprise-level, global solutions and drive implementation.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities - How will you help us grow?

  • Monitoring, improving and sustaining optimizer driven plan quality.

  • Responsible for supporting continuous improvement of optimizer run time.

  • Optimizer run failure root cause analysis and resolution.

  • Support end users / key users in understanding optimizer results.

  • Share best practices for optimizer driven plan quality.

  • Root cause analysis of plan quality variances / outliers.

  • Update Optimizer profile / optimizer parameters.

  • Liaison with SAP for issue resolution / improvements.

  • Optimizer Run time improvement.

  • Deep expertise in IBP supply optimizer, accountable to maintain and improve optimizer results.

  • Support users in understanding optimizer results and guide to resolve issues.

Qualifications

Requirements – What You’ll Bring

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, engineering or related field.

  • Overall 10+ years of experience with at least 6-8 years of relevant experience with functional configuration in one or more of the following SAP technologies: IBP, SCM, or ECC MM/PP.

  • Experience with SAP S/4 environment.

  • Strong Knowledge of SAP IBP, SCM 7.0 or APO (DP/SNP/GATP/PPDS).

  • SCM IBP, APO Integration with various logistic modules and their E2E data flow.

  • Knowledge on implementation & support of SAP, IBP, or APO.

  • SAP Manufacturing Process & Configuration overview.

  • Strong experience in IT application support.

  • Comprehensive Supply Chain, Financial, operations research education or experience.

  • Experience in IBP Supply planning solution implementation.

  • Experience of optimizer cost modeling to achieve desired results.

  • Experience working with Agile methodologies.

  • Partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Excellent teamwork, communication (oral and written) and collaboration skills.

  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills

Technical Competencies

  • Comprehensive Supply Chain, Financial, operations research education or experience.

  • Experience in IBP Supply planning solution implementation.

  • Experience of optimizer cost modeling to achieve desired results.

  • Extensive knowledge of ERP applications and the supported business processes.

  • Ability to learn and upskill on new technologies, processes and applications.

  • Experience working with Vendors, product roadmaps and support lifecycles.

  • Detailed understanding of Supply Chain processes.

  • Strong Knowledge of SAP IBP, SCM 7.0 or APO (DP/SNP/GATP/PPDS).

  • SCM APO Integration with various logistic modules and their E2E data flow.

  • Understanding, experience in, or configuration of the base Elements for business planning

o\tCustomer, Vendor, Plant, Material, Transportation, Manufacturing

  • Understanding, experience in, or configuration of Demand Planning

o\tSegmentation, Forecasting, Statistical Modeling

  • Understanding, experience in, or configuration of stock, stock types, and stock calculations

o\tAvailable, On-hand, Safety, Forecast

  • Understanding, experience in, or configuration of Supply Planning

o\tPlanning Horizon / Planning Time Fence

o\tMPS, Master Production Scheduling

o\tAPS, Aggregate Planning Scheduling

o\tMRP, Material Requirement Planning

o\tDRP, Distribution Requirements Planning

o\tCapacity and/or Cost modeling

  • Experience / configuration of interfaces of the planning system to the ERP system

o\tPlanning elements to the ERP system for execution

o\tActual/Historical elements from the ERP system
