PDS Tech is seeking Material Handlers for open positions in Indianapolis, IN

The ideal candidate will be responsible for all of the Material Handling processes from the point of delivery of product through to receipt by the customer ensuring that customer service, quality, and business requirements are met to the highest standards.

Key Accountabilities

• Perform all required tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures for the appropriate inbound or outbound team to ensure targets are met relating to inventory, delivery and quality,

• Achieve all targets to satisfy customer requirements.

• Ensure stock accuracy is maintained to achieve acceptable levels of inventory integrity.

• Adhere to specified customer quality requirements and ensure the physical integrity of the product is maintained, upholding the company’s position as a respected Aerospace company.

• Ensure that all property and data of the company is properly cared for to maintain security and safety levels.

• Ensure 5S is maintained to high standards

• Participate in improvement activities at department/company level to enhance business performance.

• Comply with all relevant internal rules, policies and procedures, including those relating to Health and Safety, Data Protection and all those contained within the issued Employee Handbook and Policies and Procedures Manual.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, production reports, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read, write and comprehend simple business correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively communicate information to co-workers or customers in both one-on-one and small group situations.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Business Judgment

Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures in a professional and consistent manner. Able to apply common sense understanding and use appropriate judgment in routine business situations with supervisor, co-workers and customers.

Technical Skills

Ability to work with the following tools or machinery

• Scales
