Hours: 3pm-12pm M-F, rotating Sunday shift 7p-4a

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.

  • Build, re-build and repair all parts of Company equipment as may be required in the department to which they are assigned.

  • Diagnose any mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic breakdown or failure to a motor truck or related equipment.

  • Read precision instruments such as voltmeters, digital multimeters, calibrators and other electronic diagnostic tools.

  • Perform general equipment maintenance and repairs.

  • When applicable, use basic migwelding of steel and aluminum to complete repairs.

  • Operate equipment to perform general equipment repair and installation.

  • Perform assigned work in compliance with all Safe work procedures, guidelines, practices, permits, and air monitoring requirements.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 1 year experience in truck trailer maintenance required.

SKILL / EDUCATION: High School Diploma or its equivalent required.

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Chauffer's License required. CDL preferred. Must have the ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment. Must have working knowledge of most of the systems located on a truck or truck tractor, or a semi trailer. Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record search to company standards. Apply knowledge of DOT and OSHA rules and regulations. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.

A post offer drug screen will be required.
