This position is an integral part of the Compliance Team and acts as a primary liaison with the State of Indiana to facilitate communications between OMPP, CMS, the State’s contractors, and MDwise executive leadership and staff for the Plan’s Medicaid Compliance Program. This position works with both the legal and compliance departments and has a reporting relationship to the MDwise Director, Legal Affairs.
Bachelor’s Degree in business, health care or related field.
Two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory role leading or assisting in all phases of effective supervision (i.e. Recruitment, performance management, training)
Three (3) years’ progressively more complex experience in health plan compliance programs.
Candidate must be approved by the Indiana Medicaid agency prior to hiring and the agency may ask to interview candidate.
Certified in Health Care Compliance (CHC)
2 years’ experience and knowledge of HMO, PPO, TPA, PHO and managed care functions
Experience working as an independent auditor or accountant responsible for evaluating internal financial records for the purpose of ensuring regulatory compliance or identifying waste, fraud, and misuse of agency funds.
Experience presenting information to leadership.
