The Process Improvement Coordinator for the Kentucky Medicaid Plan is responsible for identifying process improvement opportunities and developing and implementing process improvements.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Documents current work flow.
Identifies areas at risk.
Develops recommendations for changed/new processes.
Coordinates obtaining consensus among affected parties.
Coordinates implementation and monitors post-implementation.
Makes necessary adjustments as needed.
May act as lead in providing direction to lower level associates in the department.
Manages project implementations for utilization management and case management
Research and resolve issues received from the State within the required time limit.
Trains associates and assists departments in basic compliance training.
Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; 3-5 years experience in process improvement, workflow analysis, or project management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
