Verizon Program Manager - Inbound Neutral Host DAS in Indianapolis, Indiana
What you’ll be doing...
You will provide critical, end-to-end program ownership of a key revenue stream within the network. The collocation of other carriers onto VZW neutral host venues will generate revenues in excess of $100 million in a few short years. You will be a program manager of in-building or tower collocations, and will lead neutral Host DAS and DRAN co-locations, primarily focused on supporting inbound carrier design and build activities and provide thorough technical validation.
Program manage numerous collocation projects from application to billing commencement, including projects with values above $10m.
Be the custodian for capital, revenue, and profitability.
Conduct a thorough assessment of the project, including the original investments, and capture inbound carrier costs accurately in agreements.
Identify and document process needs and communicate with the field, HQ, venues vendors, and other carriers.
Provide point of contact and advocate support for the inbound carrier.
Manage inbound carrier needs to ensure the agreement, design and build go according to plan.
Track acceptance needed to drive revenue, provide escalation point for the inbound carrier, venue and field teams, and document progress to leadership.
Drive metric performance reporting through the gathering of inputs.
Develop key assumptions related to the business operations.
Maintain a high level of performance in a fast paced dynamic environment.
Identify, communicate and escalate gaps and slippage to stakeholders.
Work closely with the territory and sub-market technical leads to ensure carrier additions are integrated efficiently.
Travel to carrier business reviews and project locations for site walks and design meetings.
Refine and support corporate guidelines.
Master deal requirements in assigned national and sub-market agreements.
Determine alterations to capture with change orders and which are not material.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have:
Subject matter expertise on in-building wireless technology.
Technical skills to effectively collaborate on projects with stakeholders.
Three or more years of project/program management experience.
PMP or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
Ability to manage and execute competing tasks and multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to originate, analyze, negotiate, structure, prepare, and present risk assessment and analysis.
Solid presentation skills.
Experience with network real estate processes and issues specific to large-scale and high volume project(s).
Leadership-through-influence experience in a dynamic, distributed team environment.
Ability to manage external professionals (vendors, engineers, real estate professionals, land planners, attorneys or consultants) toward fulfillment of common network goals.
High-level understanding of various wireless network technologies including RF, powering, transport and data.
Demonstrated strong written and conference call skills.
