Supports the business by recommending appropriate actions, strategies and/or alternatives to meet business needs. Has responsibility for leading/managing all aspects of a project and or program such as planning, coordination, development, implementation including the financial implications while prioritizing work, resources and time. Ensures the end state of the project and/or business operations meets business objective(s) and that all deliverables and due dates are met.

Fundamental Components:

  • Provides sales and sales leadership with the data, trends, metrics and insights to set targets, forecast future sales and manage sales performance

  • Sets the direction of the strategic business plan and translates into vision for staff/others

  • Develop a comprehensive, integrated strategy for reporting and analytics to support CH&S sales strategy and initiatives

  • Take high-level business goals and define metrics, presentations and reports/dashboards for the purpose of strategic decision making, investment and overall sales management

  • Define the optimal performance measurements required to ensure sales organization success

  • Derive insights to drive informed decision-making areas of: membership projections, sales budgeting, capacity planning & staffing, best practices, and client and customer engagement

  • Define appropriate metrics to drive business and logically map to the sales process and operating practices


  • 10+ years managed care / health insurance industry experience.

  • Multiple years proven leadership experience setting strategic direction and influencing change that resulted in quantifiable positive outcomes.

  • Proven track record managing complex projects and or programs that resulted in cost savings.

  • Experience managing large budgets.

  • Project management experience.

  • Supervisory experience.

  • Demonstrated negotiation skills.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
