Description
The Senior Pharmacy Growth Professional defines the sales product strategy for single or multiple lines of business targeting specific markets and/or business segments. The Senior Pharmacy Growth Professional will develop and grow positive, long-term relationships with physicians, providers and healthcare systems in order to support and improve Mail Order Pharmacy performance and consumer experience.
Responsibilities
The Senior Pharmacy Growth Professional will collaborate with provider, provider groups and market-based teams to develop strategies and tactics around the patient/member benefits of utilizing mail order pharmacy. Work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The objective is to seek and develop new mail order growth opportunities. This position requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the function or segment.
The Senior Pharmacy Growth Professional also develops key performance indicators to drive program effectiveness and to ensure cost efficiencies. They will provide data driven expertise and management reporting to improve Mail Order Pharmacy performance and increase market share.
Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with internal and external partners to ensure effective, strategic, and competitive Mail Order Pharmacy growth plans.
Develop go to market strategies and identify new business opportunities to increase mail order referral growth, specifically local and regional opportunities within the assigned territory.
Identify specific risk providers that will become long term relationship levers
Share key performance indicators to provider and pharmacy leadership.
Assess and determine issues and escalate accordingly.
Identify key areas of improvement through mail order utilization analysis.
Facilitate questions and issues regarding mail-order pharmacy from the Provider channel.
Influence department's strategy.
Makes decisions regarding technical approach for project components, and perform work without direction.
Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field
Prior work experience in the health solutions industry
Strong influence skills; able to work across stakeholders with variable priorities to achieve goals
Excellent presentation skills and professional presence; able to facilitate meetings and present to large groups and leadership
Able to maintain high engagement level and resilience through new and ambiguous scenarios
Proficiency with digital platforms like Zoom, MS Teams or WebEx
Independent, self-starter with ability to manage multiple or competing priorities
Must be passionate about continuously improving consumer experiences
History of demonstrated business development capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare policies, processes and procedures
Established knowledge of physician reimbursement and quality/bonus methodologies
3 or more years Provider Engagement experience
Proficient in quality improvement processes, analyzing and interpreting financial trends
Additional Information
On average this role requires 1-2 days travel per week. Travel requirement could increase during peak business season. Due to the current COVID-19 company travel restrictions in lieu of travel, business has been adjusted to a virtual environment.
