Camping World and Gander Outdoors is now hiring an Inventory Control Auditor to be based in our Lebanon, IN Midwest Distribution Center. The Inventory Control Auditor will be responsible for supporting various inventory and audit reporting and ensure overall inventory accuracy within the Distribution Center.


  • Ensure product is picked accurately and staged in correct lane

  • Identify case pack issues resulting in inaccurate picks / increased labor costs

  • Validate product is shipped to correct store

  • Pallet consolidation

  • Pallets clearly marked with ship to store number and wrapped with different color of pallet wrap

  • Validate product on pallet is for specific store whether visual or scanning

  • Check for shipping Accuracy to Direct to Consumers

  • Box Dimension Accuracy

  • Confirming input by merchant is correct

  • Populating system correct box size making sure all "Y" boxes are the priority

  • Visually watching packers pack product to make sure we are minimizing shipping air

  • Validate Inventory Adjustments

  • Root Causing/ Problem Solving

  • Reporting and Tracking Results


  • Attention to detail -- achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task through concern for all the areas involving responsibilities. Provide accurate, consistent reports.

  • Possess a thorough understanding of the basic statistics of distributions and can detect patterns in repeated inaccuracies/ discrepancies. The Inventory Control Auditor will investigate errors and root cause the errors to solve issues to make the distribution efficient and more productive.

  • Should be able to work independently, prioritize & schedule work assignments based on deadlines.

  • Savvy with Microsoft Excel and able to create audit data reports

  • Knowledge in measuring and correcting dimensions of product and boxes
