Director-PMO might be interested in joining this existing team to work with our local client. This full-time employment opportunity is based in the Northwest Indiana area. Our client is looking for a Director-PMO to manage key projects as part of our client's strategic business plan. The most important thing about this job is to ensure that changes are delivered to the expectations of stakeholders; you will be serving as a key member of the team. Another requirement for this position is to be responsible for managing projects to successful completion, ensuring that projects deliver on time, on budget, and in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project. How you will make an impact

  • Engages and communicates with designers, technical team members, developers, and stakeholders

  • Advances to manage, identify, and classify risk for functional improvement requests

  • Directs project planning

  • Make certain that the functional requirements are tracked, achievable, and met

  • Supports the daily stand-ups, guaranteeing their are focused, brief, and timely

  • Cooperates with the Product Owner/Product Manager to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap

  • Assigns schedules and milestones with inputs from all other teams assigned to that product, manages project scope and timelines

  • Jointly acts with Product Owner/Product Manager to warrant that the product vision and high-level business objectives are definite and viable

  • Supplies detailed reporting to management on risk assessments, milestone completion, and project status

  • Sets out project with right ticket workflows and boards

  • Accumulates briefing from business analysts, technical leads, and QA leads into plans

  • Tracks and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner

  • Registers and controls the sprint planning and grooming meetings and trails ticket assignments

  • Collaborates with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects

  • Work in close cooperation with the QA Manager, Product Specialist, Product Owner/Product Manager, and Business Analyst

  • Applies as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - ensuring the team is working effectively, leading scrum ceremonies, and clearing obstacles

  • Plans the RACI matrix for projects in a product line

  • Executes deployment scheduling in coordination with Dev Ops, tech lead, and Product Owner

  • Be instrumental in managing dependencies among cross-product teams

  • Support the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products

Requirements

  • To be considered, you should be flexible and focused

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

  • Project management experience desired

  • This position will be the best fit for a candidate with experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs

  • Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently

  • Applicants with a Project Management (PMP) certification are preferred.

  • Capable of working independently with minimal oversight

  • Prior success in project management, supervisory leadership, and operational management

  • This position requires proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools

  • If you are familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies, you can succeed in this position

  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues

  • Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
