Ryerson Operator Support Member - IN Portage in Portage, Indiana

We are currently seeking Operator Support members to join our 1st shift (7a - 3p) and 2nd shift (3p - 11p) warehouse teams in our Central Coil Processing facility in Portage, IN.
Successful candidates will handle the following responsibilities as indicated below:
Assembles, pallets and skids per order requirements
Loads product onto trucks
Completes bill of ladings for outbound shipments
Assembles customer orders to order specifications
Performs data entry for processed fulfilled orders
Operates forklifts, E.O.T. cranes and warehouse tractor
Receives and stocks raw materials for production
Operates track mobile and moves and unloads rail cars
Receives in and inspects products
Operates shear for sample testing
Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED required
3-5 years or more experience in warehouse setting preferred
Steel industry background preferred
SAP experience preferred
Overhead crane experience preferred
Experience loading & unloading steel products preferred
Experience with mobile equipment preferred
