Spring Hill Camps High School Seasonal Director in Seymour, Indiana
The TST Seasonal Director provides leadership for their team with the ultimate purpose of reaching the mission to enable young people to know Jesus Christ and grown in their relationship with Him. The TST Seasonal Director commits to and fully embodies this mission, vision and the core values of SpringHill while working collaboratively with their team and other INON summer leaders to create this culture. The TST Seasonal Director trains, inspires and encourages summer leaders and ensures the safety of all TST campers and summer leaders. The TST Seasonal Director shares the Gospel and executes excellent programming and experiences for campers in High School.
Key Job Functions
Lead and manage the implementation of an incredible summer camp experience including follow-up on and resolution of parent/customer complaints
Responsible to manage the performance, culture and experience of a team of summer leaders; spiritually, professionally and personally
Responsible for the retention of summer leaders as well as the identification of key leaders for future leadership opportunities within the organization
Manage and ensure the risk and safety of campers and staff
Understand, maintain and steward the TST budget
Complete other duties as assigned by the Overnight Experience Director
Experience and Qualifications Requirements
Commitment to the mission and ministry philosophy of SpringHill
Bachelor?s Degree preferred
Demonstrated experience in ministry or related field
Demonstrated experience in effectively leading people
Proficient in problem solving skills and making sound decisions
Self-starter who is highly motivated and able to work unsupervised for extended periods of time
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift, bend, and twist
Ability to push and pull loads
Must be able to lift frequently up to 35 lbs.; occasionally 35-100 lbs. with assistance
Good hand-eye coordination
