Cigna Maintenance Senior Supervisor - Express Scripts in Whitestown, Indiana

The Automation Engineering Senior Supervisor will have overall responsibility for the maintenance and reliability of the pharmacy automation equipment. This position will oversee a multi-craft team to deploy root cause analysis and problem-solving methods to troubleshoot and resolve automated equipment issues and determine preventative measures. This position will work closely with the Senior Manager and the site operations team. This position will also engage the site and corporate cross-functional teams as required for problem resolution or continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor equipment performance software and or applications to minimize downtime and maximize patient service.

  • Monitor and engage the team to improve Mean Time between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).

  • Act as the first level of Management Response.

  • Build strong teams through continuous training/development for the team. Evaluate team and individual performance. Work with the AP EMT and 4th shift leads to schedule training for team

  • Conduct one on one meetings with direct reports and provide feedback for end of year reviews.

  • Collect, analyze, and issue corrective actions as needed for routine daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual operating reports.

  • Oversee and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Schedule PM and CM work through Maximo – CMMS system

  • Work side by side with EMTs as needed to complete the project and corrective maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 2-5 years of relevant working experience

  • Experience leading within an industrial maintenance or reliability team.

  • Computer knowledge including MS Office application

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a workgroup or project team

  • Results-oriented coupled with the ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing processes, responsibilities, work environments as well as making independent decisions quickly.

  • Well-developed communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) and ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and leadership

  • Effective motivator and self-starter

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills

  • Must be able to adjust schedule to ensure face-to-face interaction with all 3 shifts on a rotational basis or as needed based on any observed gaps

  • Willing to travel up to 10%
